PTFE Tape
Also known as: thread seal tape, plumber's tape, Teflon tape
White PTFE tape wrapped around threaded (BSP) fittings to create a watertight seal. Wrap clockwise 2–3 times — in the direction of tightening — so it does not unravel.
Used on all threaded connections in plumbing — showerheads, tap connectors, valve threads.
Thin white stretchy tape on a small plastic reel, typically 12 mm or 19 mm wide.
