Select a fault code
The boiler's fan is not operating. Without the fan, combustion gases cannot be safely vented.
The boiler has overheated and the safety thermostat has locked it out. Causes include a blocked heat exchanger, low water flow, or a pump failure.
The system water pressure has dropped below the minimum operating level. This is one of the most common Baxi faults.
The pump is not operating correctly. Without circulation, the boiler cannot safely distribute heat.
The air pressure switch has not operated correctly. This switch confirms the fan is running before ignition is permitted.
The boiler has failed to ignite. This can be caused by low gas pressure, a faulty spark electrode, or a blocked condensate pipe in winter.
The boiler has detected a fault with the fan or the flue system. Combustion gases cannot be safely expelled.
The gas pressure at the boiler is insufficient. This may indicate a gas supply problem or a faulty gas valve.
The boiler has failed to ignite after the maximum number of attempts.
A safety device has operated due to overheating.
A temperature sensor has failed or is reading outside normal parameters.
The pump fault sensor has detected a problem.
Flame is being detected when the burner should be off. Serious gas valve or ionisation fault.
The flame went out during normal operation.
A fault has been detected on the gas valve.
