Boiler failed to ignite. Gas supply may be interrupted or ignition components faulty.

Gas valve opened but no flame signal received from ionisation probe.

High limit thermostat has cut out due to overheating.

NTC sensor on flow pipe has failed or is reading out of range.

NTC sensor on return pipe has failed.

System pressure has fallen below minimum threshold (usually 0.5 bar).

Fan not reaching required RPM or not responding to controller.

Flow temperature exceeded safe limit. Safety cut-out activated.

Domestic hot water NTC temperature sensor has failed.

Flue temperature sensor reading abnormally high or failed.

Control board has detected an internal fault.

Boiler has reached its service interval.

Pump is running but insufficient circulation detected.
